Day 12
Wednesday August 26, 2020
I slept in today and I got the rest of my play in here at Paris/Bally's. Tough session. I know the pay tables suck and I should lose. I can't really blame them this time though. When you're playing 100 play you just need dealt winners or you're dead. I dropped close to 5 bills doing less than 5k in action.

I went to the ballroom at Paris to collect my free play on the bike promo and got a voucher for $500.

From there I went to the garage, hopped in the car and headed downtown.

Since I did my play last night, I only needed to collect my gift today. I tried to do this yesterday but the players club is only open from 10am to 2pm. They direct you to the cage but they were clueless there.

I took a lunch break over at the Deli in Binion's and had another “Famous” burger. Always good and always does the trick.

I took another walk up and down Fremont ducking in and out of each place playing some penny games again. It was a waste of time because I lost some cash this time around.

I decided to leave downtown and go to Silverton. They sent me a mail offer for $200 free play and a $50 meal credit based on my play last time I was out.

When I got there I played Spin Poker. It was a good session with lots of dealt winners. Nothing outstanding but just smaller stuff like high pairs, trips and 2 pair. Oddly I only hit 2 quads the whole time I played and squeaked out a $65 win on 6k in action.

I wandered through the casino playing some penny games after the video poker. Not a good walk as I lost on just about everything I played.

For dinner I went to Sundance Grill after I stopped by the host office for a comp. You have a hidden comp balance here and they insist you get a paper comp to use them. I got the cream of potato soup and the prime rib French dip with chips. The soup was good but not hot enough. The sandwich was probably one of the worse French dips I've ever had. The meat was so overcooked and dry even the dip wasn't helping it.

After dinner I hit the machines again and some more Spin Poker. Another good session with a bunch of quads, most of the bonus variety. I decided I had enough play in and locked up a $300 win.

Next I ran my $200 free play through dollar single line. Since it had been a good day I was hoping to land a quad. It didn't happen but I did turn the $200 free play into $200 cash thanks to a full house and 2 straights.

I left Silverton and came back to Paris. I went over to Bally's to collect my free play. I ran it through garbage video poker and turned it into $415 cash. I just couldn't hit a thing along the way. I will consider it a gift that I even kept that much.

I walked though Bally's and Paris and played some penny games. I had a little better luck than downtown and at Silveton. I actually turned a small profit.

I wrapped up the night in the room watching TV and getting caught up on e-mails.

Total coin in for the day $13,085
Total win/loss for the day + $342
Total Comps for the day $886
