Day 15

I got up this morning and gathered up my things and headed out. I pulled into the Aquarius and took my things up to the room then went back down to the casino. I activated today's 10x/5x multiplier and played my kiosk game for the day. I got 8000 points again. I played some 10 play to start things off. Similar to previous sessions, I was running pretty smooth and then just like that it got bad. I got in 8k and lost 3 bills.

For lunch I went to the room and just ate some of the food I had up there. The line at the cafe was obscene. I'm glad to see that at least on weekends they've extended the hours since my last trip. That said, without the buffet, the cafe is really jammed on weekends.

I took a walk after lunch and did my usual of playing some penny slots along the way. Some good, some bad but made a small profit.

When I got back to the Aquarius I settled in for another round of 10 play. This round was very similar to this morning except for losing 5 bills on the same action.

I took another walk playing more slots along the way. This too was similar to earlier. Win a few, lose a few.

For dinner I went to Passaggio over at the Tropicana. This is their Italian restaurant. I ordered the chicken Marsala. I'm not sure how it was prepared but, the Marsala sauce was good but the chicken was like rubber. I've had better pieces of chicken at fast food restaurants. The serving was also too small with just one tiny chicken breast. They also give you a side of pasta with red sauce. The pasta was quite good. The problem comes when they put the pasta on the same plate as the Chicken Marsala and the red sauce mixes in with the Marsala. You also get a bread stick with the meal. Sad to say, not only was the meal not that good, I left still hungry. I used my daily $20 food comp to cover the tab.

I left the Tropicana and made my way back to the Aquarius. I caught most the 1st period of the Golden Knights against Vancouver t the Edgewater sports book. I got there with 17 minutes left on the clock and the Golden Knights already scored 2 goals early on before I got there.

After the first period I came back to the Aquarius and caught the 2nd period. No goals. I gave up watching this game because they only had it on one small screen. They had basketball up on the giant screen.

I got in another round of video poker. This time was pretty good. I had a few swings but was never +/- more than $200. After 12k in action I squeaked out a $2 win! Whoo hoo. My second win here in the last 2 months for a total of $3. If only my losses were swapped with my wins.

I was hungry again so went to Cafe Aquarius. They were getting slammed but mt Legit card got me past the line. The service was absurd. They did it again where they short staff the place expecting it to be slow and the aren't. It took 40 minutes for my food to come out. I had eggs, pancakes and corned beef hash. The food was good, just took too long to get it.

I decided on one more session of video poker. I dropped back to 5 play this time. Pretty good session. Just enough quads and dealt winners to keep alive. I was just about to quit even and on a single ace hold, hit four aces to cash out with a $102 win!

Another day and another kick in the ass. I came up to the room a little after midnight and crashed after a long day.
