Day 18
Tuesday September 1, 2020
Well it's a new month and a new day. But my old habits are still in play. In room breakfast and then a trip to the casino. I swiped at the kiosk to activate today's multiplier. They posted yesterday that Tuesday and Thursday would be 7x on slots and 4x on video poker here and at Edgewater.

I started off with 10 play again. Nothing special here. Enough hits to keep going for a while with one set of aces and 1 king high straight flush. I held the 9 again so not a bad thing. I'm still not getting much play for the money I'm losing though.

Next up was lunch at Cafe Aquarius. I had the Four Cheese Omelet with 3 cheeses. Cheddar, American & Swiss. Skipped the pepper jack. Really good and filled me up.

I took a walk after lunch playing some games. Hit one of my biggest bonus rounds ever and cleared close to $500 on the hit. I'm still amazed I'm getting better hits on slots and the video poker.

I took a break and went over to Arizona to get my laundry. Everything was done and ready for me when I arrived. I've used this place in the past and they are very good.

For dinner I went to Cafe Aquarius again. I had the open faced turkey. Very good with real turkey, not deli slices. I got a chocolate shake to go.

I wanted to watch the Golden Knights game but the Islanders and Flyers were in overtime and the network kept tht on until it was done. Caught the second half of the first period and then went over to Edgewater. Got whacked on slots and was watching the 2nd period of the game over there. Then, at 8pm off go the TVs in the sportsbook. WTF? Fine, close the window, but leave the TVs on.

I came back to the Aquarius and caught the tail end of the second period. During intermission I went on a small slot run through the casino. Won a few bucks, and I do mean a few bucks. Came back to watch the rest of the game and just my luck, there's a guy sitting a few sets away that feels the need to do play by play, coach, cheer like a fan AND talk to himself about the game for the whole period. He must have used the term sloppy 400 times in 20 minutes. Why me? OK, I have to agree with him. The Knights were sloppy and lost.

After the game I played another round of video poker. Had potential to be a good session for a change when I got dealt quad queens early on. The problem is I lost that $300 as quickly as I hit it. Cashed out with a $1 win on only 2k in action. While it was a win, I think of it as a loss losing $300 on 2k in action.

Decided to cash in some points for $500 free play. I ran that through dollar video poker and turned it into $470 cash. Between this and the slot win earlier I wasn't down that much so played some more. Had an awful session of video poker and dropped another 3 bills on just over 1k in action. Way too quick of a dump on quarters.

I moved to a different machine and was doing better. I was hovering +/- $100 and then got the great hand of dealt aces for the $1000 hit. Played a bit more and and felt the bleed starting to happen so cashed out with the $700 win.

I came up to the room to start getting ready for the move tomorrow and then went to bed.

Total coin in for the day $19,685
Total win/loss for the day + $592
Total Comps for the day $598
