Day 21

I slept in today. Damn those room darkening curtains! I had some breakfast and then got ready for the day.
Round 1 was 10 play. Pretty smooth session but weak again on quads. Was just about busted out when I held AJ of spades and hit quad aces on line 8. Can't get them when I'm dealt trips but I get them now. Later on held a pair of aces and hit quads on 2 lines. Go figure.
Played around on some penny crap and amazingly hit a few bonus rounds that were worth good money and a few larger hits during play. Again up more playing slots than video poker. I'm guessing because I hit and run on the slots and keep playing VP when I'm up.
Took a break for a late lunch and went to the deli. Got a turkey sandwich with bacon and cheese on it. Really good and did the trick.
Back to the casino and the VP was being tough on me again. I got dealt quad eights. The problem was I was down 2 bills already. I kept pounding away but failed to get any better so cashed out with a $1 win. I just didn't want to lose for the session after being dealt a quad.
Next up I went and registered for the slot tournament. Two sessions, one today, one tomorrow. They are using a play when you want method now and some newer software I've never seen before. I landed in 37th place for the day at that point. The girl cleaning the machines and keeping things moving said it was a good score. We'll see what happens tomorrow.
Next up I went to the sportsbook to watch the Golden Knights in Game 7 against Vancouver. While waiting for the game to start I played deuces for dimes. It was a tough start without seeing a deuce on the deal until I was down $60. Things smoothed out after that and I was getting some deuces on the seal and some good dealt winners.
At 6:15 I left the machine up $28 to go to the drawing area. I didn't get called. Better luck next time as they say. Next drawing is at 8:15pm.
Played a few slots during the first intermission and got up a few bucks thanks to another decent bonus round.
Back to the sportsbook for the start of the 2nd period tied 0 – 0. I also played dime deuces while I watched. Still tied after two periods. The third period started. I cashed out of the deuces with a $20 win.
At 8:15 I went back to the drawing area. I didn't get called again. Over the years in the drawings here I've noticed the same people get called over and over. Caught the rest of the game and the Knights scored on a power play to take the lead. They'd hold on to win and score 2 more empty net goals to move to the conference finals against Dallas next week. The locals in the sportsbook exploded with excitement when the goals were scored.
After the game I got in some more video poker action. Back to bonus 10 play for quarters. Streaky session at first with few quads and dealt winners. Things turned around through with a dealt flush and two full houses in about 20 hands. Those were followed by dealt quad deuces. Things slowed down after the deuces hit and I cashed out with a $300 win.
I was getting hungry so hit the Earl Grey Cafe for an order of chicken wings.
Next, I took a shot at running my $100 free play through dollar single line. No big hits and cashed out at $85 cash.
I came up to the room after this and wrapped up the night with a little TV.
