Day 22
Saturday September 5, 2020
I slept in again and after getting ready it was time for some video poker.

Bad session, just crushed. Dropped almost 5 bills on less than 5k in action. Few quads and just a few dealt straights.

I took a break from VP and tried some slots and got crushed on those too.

Back to the VP machines and it as an exact replay of the first time around with the same loss and the same amount of action.

I decided to go play my next round in the slot tournament. After an exhausting 3 minutes I was in 13th place and currently in the money. My thought was to go block the entrance to the ballroom area and divert people away telling them it's closed. I didn't think I was going to get away with that though. The hope is few people play this afternoon and even fewer do well. We'll see what happens after 8pm when the tournament is over.

I decided I needed a break from Rampart and took a ride over to Arizona Charlie's just for something different. When I got there I played 2¢ deuces on 50 play. Not really good and lost $95 before dinner.

For dinner I had a $30 comp from my mail offer that I used at Ron's Steakhouse. I ordered the double cut pork chop. This comes with soup or salad. I chose the soup which was gumbo. Very similar to the stuff I get at the 4 Queens but a lot smoother and richer. It was really good. I also ordered a side of macaroni and cheese. Some of the best out there and really creamy and stayed creamy because they served it in a crock the held the heat. The chop was cooked perfect and had great flavor. I would order this entire meal over again if I had to.

After dinner I played 10 play deuces. Really shitty session with few deuces on the deal. On what was almost the last hand I got dealt trips deuces. Hoped for the best and got crap. The worst possible outcome, 10 four of a kinds. Couldn't even squeak out one wild royal. Dropped 5 bills on this play.

They were running a promo today when you earned 300 points. Three pigs race each other and you get the prize of the one that wins. My pig was worth 5000 points.

Took a walk around the casino next and tried some penny games. Won around $10 and decided to get out of there. I went to go to the gift shop to use my daily $3 credit. I get there and the effing place was closed. Hours noon to 8. Seriously? Who closes the casino gift shop at 8pm on a Saturday night?

I came back to Rampart and the first thing I did was check the results of the tournament. I got bumped out of 13th place right off the chart. Oh well. So much for that.

I played a session of Spin Poker. Pretty smooth session thanks to some quads and a hand with 2 sets of aces. Cashed out with a $5 win after about 5k in action.

Next up I bounced round playing some penny games. Some wins, some losses and a huge progressive win of over $700 on one game that came as a shocker. Even with that though, the day is still going to be a pretty big loss with the way video poker went.

I decided not to push my luck and came up to the room to wrap up the night with some TV.

Total coin in for the day $21,525
Total win/loss for the day - $844
Total Comps for the day $223
