Day 23

Slept in this morning and then got caught up on e-mails. Got ready and hit the casino for a little bit.
Headed out of Rampart and down to Silverton to meet with Anne, Steve and Stacy for lunch at the Sundance Grill at 1pm. This was to use the $50 comp I had with my offer that I didn't use when I was there last time.
I tried the Prime Rib French Dip. Last time I was here it wasn't very good so I decided to give it a second chance. It was better but not great. I think in the future I'll avoid this sandwich. To make it worse they ran out of chips and I had to get fries.
I left Silverton and went over to M. The only reason for this was to see if they had any Las Vegas Raiders stuff for a friend back home. Lots of places have Raiders stuff but it's all generic without Las Vegas on them. This being the official hotel of the Raiders I was hoping they had something. They didn't so I left.
I came back to Rampart and hit the machines. I also watched the Golden Knights take on Dallas in Game 1 of the western conference finals. The game was pretty good even though the Knights lost 1-0. The VP sucked for the most part. I was down $400 before I hit my first quad. Things started to turn around when I got my first quad. Then my second quad a few hands later. It got even better when I held RF3 and scored an effing king high straight flush. I was up and down for quite a while and then got dealt RF4 and scored two flushes and 3 high pair. So aggravating. I continued to pound away with the meter running up and down $200 at a time. The bleeding stopped when I finally hit my first royal of the trip here at Rampart.
I cashed out with a $500 win and decided to go get some dinner. I went to the Earl Grey Cafe and had the turkey platter. Really good and real turkey, not deli slices.
After I was done eating I decided to play some penny games. This was a total nightmare. I couldn't hit a thing and was bleeding most of the royal money that was left. Finally I hit a bonus on one game got half of the losses back.
I was going to play more video poker but between the bad session I had and then the slot losses I decided to screw it. I simply hate having a losing day when I hit a royal so I gave up.
