Day 4

I got a late start again today. It's one thing I hate about coming out here when I'm getting off of night shift. Early mornings don't work!

I started the day off with something to eat and getting caught up on e-mails.

Next up was heading back downtown again.

Today's play will be at the Four Queens. I have a mail offer here for 3 nights, $75 food, and $400 in free play. I didn't bother booking the room because I simply don't need to food credit. They are also running a promotion if you earn 100 points you get a $10 food credit and if you earn 300 points you get $30 in free play.

I decided on 9/6 jacks or better for dollars to get the play done quickly. This was a little tough. I was down 5 bills at 3k in action. Things smoothed out a bit and at halftime I was down just $305.

I hit the players club to get my food voucher and $30 free play added to my account.

I hit Magnolia's for a late lunch/early dinner. I had my usual bowl of gumbo and got an order of rye toast to go with it. Really good and filling.

After lunch I finished up my play. Still a bit tough and hit a few more quads, one of which was dealt. I finished up my play down $550.

I made the rounds down on Fremont Street hitting each casino and playing some penny games again. No major wins or losses along the way.

I came back to the Four Queens to play some more. Dee has the same offer I had of 3 nights, $75 food and $400 in free play.

This was a much better session with a straight flush and lots of quads. I was never down the whole time I played. I had more than doubled up at the high point but as always the last 100 points was costly. Regardless I still finished the session up by $500 for a total loss of $50 between us.

I stopped by the players club and cashed in some points for another $200 in cash back. All in all it was a good day at the Four Queens today. In my case after the play, free play, and cash back I broke dead even. The play on Dee's card was all profit.

I went back to the Golden Nugget to get my things and headed back to the Strip.

When I got back to to Caesars Palace I came to the room and took it easy. I finished up the night in the room watching TV and getting some sleep.
