Day 6
Thursday December 17, 2020
When I got up and got motivated I packed up the rest of my stuff and got ready to leave Caesars Palace.

I logged into my Caesars account to see if my bonus posted yesterday and verify that I made it to 7* for next year. I'm thinking 2021 will be my last year as a 7* guest. Now the odd part. I checked my Great Gift Wrap up balance to see what was left expecting to see 3000-4000 points and I see 195,000+. I'm not sure where they came from. I'm thinking this is a mistake. There's no way this is real. So I take a trip up to the ballroom, get my balance and sure as shit, I've got 195,000 points. Off to the free play line and I walked out of there with another $700 in free play. Had I not checked this morning I wouldn't have gotten this.

Down to the casino I go to run this through. I chose 7/5 bonus for dollars hoping to hit a bonus quad. No luck there and I turned the $700 into $585 cash. The short pay table wasn't a factor because I didn't hit a single full house. Even though the run through wasn't that great, I consider this a gift of being in the right place at the right time.

I left Caesars around 12:45pm and headed south. About 90 miles south all of the way to Laughlin and the Aquarius. On the way I stopped for some Jack In The Box and a couple of tacos and a junior bacon cheeseburger.

I'll be staying at the Aquarius for the next 4 nights even though I booked 5. I booked this through my host. I also have a mail offer for $420 free play. I also have an offer for 50,000 points for my birthday ($100 free play). I'd also be getting 15,000 points as part of my weekly food offer twice which can also be used for free play.

I checked in at the VIP area and my room was ready. I was given room 10058. This room is in the Arizona Tower. I don't normally stay in this tower but they told me it was the only tower open. This is normally the family tower and in the past I've seen really long waits for the elevators. I'm hoping this isn't the case this week.

This room has a king bed, nightstands, table and chairs, dresser and TV and arm chair. It has a view of the river.

I got my stuff up to the room and got settled in for the next 4 nights.

For dinner I got a reservation at Cafe Aquarius for 5pm. This gave me about 30 minutes to go play. Nothing went wrong. I hit a bunch of quads, got dealt a full house and a flush back to back (would have been sweet on Ultimate X). In the short session I did 1k in action and won $152

Dinner at Cafe Aquarius was the pot roast. It was different once again like many times in the past. It was good, but different. This is one dish that is very inconsistent here.

After dinner I took another walk up and down the river walk hitting some penny games along the way. Had a few decent bonus rounds and made a small profit.

When I got back to the Aquarius I hit the 10 play machines. Really good session but streaky at times. I hit aces 6 times and loads of other quads and some straight flushes. I even hit two straight flushes on one hand holding 456 of spades. The larger dealt winners were weak with only 2 full houses and 3 flushes dealt. It was a really good run of action and I did 20k and only lost $150. Between the two sessions I was up 2 bucks!

At the end of the night I ran my free play through dollar 8/5 bonus turning the $420 into $420 cash. Real smooth session with lots of two pair and trips.

One more run through the casino popping twenties into slots and another small hit and run profit.

I came up to the room around 11 and finished the night up here in the room with some TV.

Total Coin In For The Day = $22,280
Total Win/Loss For The Day = + $1,098
Total Comps For The Day = $1,209
