Day 12

I got up today and decided to walk the strip and play some slots along the way. No major wins or losses.

I decided to head out of the Venetian and go over to the Pinball Hall of Fame. I've accumulated quite a bit of change from cashing in tickets all week long and thought it would be a good place to use the quarters.

I got lunch at Jack in the Box on the way. A couple of tacos and cheeseburger.

After the Pinball Hall of Fame I went over to Silverton. I have a mail offer for $100 free play and $50 food credit. I played my usual Spin Poker machines here. Complete ass kicking. No dealt winners and no quads. I was down 5 bills and only had 2k in action. Really bad. I switched to 10 play airport deuces. Another disaster and really annoying to have gotten my first natural quad. Not only a quad, a dealt quad. On 10 play. I dropped another pile cash here and down a total of close to 12 bills on only $7500 in play.

For dinner I met up with Anne and Steve and we went to Sundance Grill. I got the chicken fried steak. I was probably one of the worst I've ever had. The gravy was not hot enough, like paste and had no taste. The $50 food credit covered the bill except for the last 99¢.

After dinner I ran my free play through penny spin poker and turned the $100 into $92 cash.

Next I decided to try one more shot at video poker. I decided on dollars against my better judgment. It worked out when I hit three quads including aces. That helped ease some of the pain from earlier.

I came back to the Venetian and hit the casino playing some penny games. A few smaller wins and losses until I hit a big bonus round on Buffalo for over 5 bills.

It was really late at this point in the night, close to 4am. Time for bed.
