"I hunt, therefore I am." When he was born two years ago, Son of Mountainwolf and Rayshina, Beta's of the Northernlight wolfpack, he was a playful pup, like any other. At 7 months old he saved his older sister Faula and his best friend Snowflake_ from a wild boar attack, that left him with a scar over his right eye. He then realized that life is not all play, and he decided to protect his family and pack from those who would cause harm, no matter what the cost to himself. Several months later, a human hunter aimed his shotgun to kill a wolf in Northernlight pack. Moon^Shadow reacted by leaping in front of the gun, which then shattered and almost tore off his right front paw. A friendly human blacksmith placed a metal cast on the nearly destroyed paw. Moon^Shadow's father, Mountainwolf, adopted a lone pup as his own daughter. This young pup inspired in moon^Shadow a new hope for the future and new strength to deal with his metal paw, and he accepted and loved her as a real sister. However, as internal pack problems grew stronger and more evident he tried everything he could to keep the Northernlight wolfpack together, but in vain. When the pack fell apart, and with the disappearance of his mother, Rayshina, and his best friend, Snowflake_, he lost an important part of himself, and he never fully recovered. "My knees hit the floor, and I panic more, until you open my door." He roamed as a lone wolf for a while, until he found the Majestic Skies wolfpack, a newly founded pack with the kind and strong wolf Silverstar as Alpha female. His father, sisters and him joined this new pack and Moon^Shadow became pack guardian. One day, one of Silverstar's pups ventured into the woods, alone. Moon^Shadow followed from a distance to watch over the pup. When a bear attacked the pup, Moon^Shadow fought the most brutal fight he has ever done to date, barely able to kill the bear and keep the pup safe, but having been wounded severely himself, he just managed to drag his broken body back to the rest of the pack before fainting from pain and blood loss. He eventually healed up, but a massive scar on his flank and a limp when walking provided him with a reminder of what happened then. Just as he was about to mate with Silverstar and become alpha male of the Majestic Skies wolfpack, Silverstar died, and the pack dissolved. He found himself homeless for the second time, and with a scar across his soul that would not heal up easily. He has not been able to forgive himself for not being there to save Silverstar and the pack. He is a guardian in heart, but he considers himself a failure, and a curse to any pack he would join. "What the hell am I doing here? I don't belong here." After roaming for a few months, he found himself visiting the sweet mystics wolfpack, where his youngest sister Autumn^wolf was a member. Moon^Shadow came to realize that he had been gone for a really long time when he learned that he had gained a brother and a niece, but also lost his father and his sister Faula, both had died. After the initial pain and emptiness of these great losses he realized that he was the oldest surviving male wolf of his family and he started to feel a responsibility towards his remaining family so he decided to apply for assessment in the sweet mystics wolfpack. Perhaps this time he will not be a curse to those around him. Perhaps this time he will find a home that will last. Perhaps this time, he will belong. "Where do I take this pain of mine? I run but it stays right by my side." During the time he spent there as an assessment in waiting, he became close friends with some of the members of the pack. Also the metal cast around his fractured paw fell off to reveal that his paw had healed and was whole again.

Moon^Shadow is exceptionally large for a timberwolf, and very powerful. His fur is all black, except for a few brown streaks. His size and coloring, combined with several old battle scars gives him a menacing look about him. His voice is warm, gentle and kind while his eyes are filled with determination. He really grew up much too fast and is now reaping the fruits. He has a tortured soul which screams for companionship, but he doesn't realize it. He is a strong wolf in mind and body, he will always put the welfare of the pack and of those he cares about above his own needs. His soul though, is scarred severely. He wears a silvery pendant which depicts a wolf and a human locked in combat, which was given to him by his father, Mountainwolf. This pendant reminds Moon^Shadow of the need for honor and respect in all that he does and has been passed from father to son for generations. Moon^Shadow, the warrior. Honor his friendship, tremble and cower at his wrath.
