"Snow Paws"

Nevapaws is a sweet, gentle wolf with a playful spirit. She is former Alpha Sweet Mystic of TimberMyst(07/00-08/03) and recently named Elder Sweet Mystic(07/04). Her life has been interesting. As a yearling wolf she was accepting into the DawnBreakers wolfpack given the rank of Sentinel and learning much there. As time passed and she got older, she left that first pack due to distances and wandered into the shadows of the Shadow Keepers pack first becoming Omega and CareTaker then working her way to the respect of Beta female. She stayed with this pack until she knew her spirit no longer belonged. Listening to the words of her wise daughter, Nakomis, who told her to follow her heart, Neva left the Shadow Keepers and decided to begin her own pack in new territory. With great persistance and patience, Neva formed the Sweet Mystics and watched it grow. She made many friends along the way.

As an alpha wolf, Neva is largely responsible for determining the harmony and mood of the rest of the pack. A dominant, yet gentle wolf, she keeps a keen eye on the wolves within her clearing. She is playful and sociable, but always ready to bring forth authority with a soft growl or flash of teeth to keep order and peace within the pack and its surroundings.

A 7 year, 3 month old wolf, Neva has slightly ruffled reddish-black fur and soft golden eyes with some lighter patches of fur on her sides. A distinct white spot of fur shows on her chest, seemingly turning grey in her coming age. She is of medium build weighing in at 85 lbs. She stands 36 inches at shoulder and 54 inches from nose to tail. She does not take lightly to those who threaten her family which include her cubs, pack, and close friends. As her experience grows her actions show truth and thought.

Explaining the Past...

As a yearling, NevaPaws left the safety of her family's densite and has a rather vague memory of her parents. She roamed the snowy clearings of the north as a youth in search of a home; family, shelter, food.

When Neva was a little over a year old, she was accepted into a wonderful pack and for a while was at peace. The DawnBreakers were firm, yet loving and Neva gives all her respect to the time she spent there. She was given the rank of Sentinel and was mated to ForestClaw while learning the way of the pack and gaining much experience. During that time Neva gave birth to a small litter of cubs where only one survived, Nakomis. Slowly Neva grew distant from the DawnBreakers torn away by fear of loneliness. Noticing ForestClaw's continueing absence, she reluctantly left the pack and her first mate. She told Nakomis but let her daughter decide for herself what to do.

Neva faded into the shadows and once more became a lone wolf. However, her uncontrollable curiousity led her to a mysterious land. she was intrigued by the wolves of the Shadow Keepers and with them her soul felt fulfilled. At almost 2 years old, NevaPaws joined the Shadow Keepers under the ranks of Omega and Caretaker.

Former DawnBreaker, Nakomis stayed by Neva's side joining Shadow Keepers. Neva was soon given the rank of Beta Shadow Keeper along with her new found mate ManaWolf. She feels gaining Beta status is one of her biggest accomplishments. Some months after adopting Cerbius and Black`Wolf, Neva met StariWlf when she was under assessment in the Shadow Keepers and adopted her as her final cub.

Nakomis chose one day to depart from the Shadow Keepers, though she always visited her family frequently.

One evening, when Neva was Beta Shadow Keeper, she witnessed a fight of magic within her pack's clearing between her packmates and a human-like creature. For some reason, Neva chose to walk away. She distanced herself and thought long and hard. She never did tell anyone why exactly she left her pack (except Nakomis), but she chose to do so soon after that night rejecting the magic that so shamed NevaPaws as a Shadow Keeper. She and her mate grew distant due to troubles and soon abandoned their mateship. Upon departing from the Shadow Keepers, Neva set out on her own with gained experience, following only her Wolfen Spirit. She was lone once again in the sense that she was packless, but she kept with the company of her family, her cubs...

NevaPaws founded the Sweet Mystics and for three long and memorable years remained Alpha female. The Pack shared good times as well as sad times. The Pack has been a great Spirit. Now, three years later due to her absences and RL changes, NevaPaws decided to step down as leader of the Sweet Mystics with only the best intentions in mind. With the support of the Pack, she gave Alphaship to two wolves she felt had the potential to be great leaders: Hunter^ as Alpha Female and SilverWlf as Alpha Male....and so, the Sweet Mystics continued. NevaPaws remained Adult Member the coming year.

With a year passed, NevaPaws returned to her home and continued her support of her one true home. The Alphas named Neva Elder Sweet Mystic due to her loyalty and experience, she is forever grateful and humbled by this honor. She has no doubt her Alphas will do great things in the coming future of the Sweet Mystics Pack.
