 Clay Craft of Native America

The following pieces of sculpted clay are examples of many items found in the Southwest part of the United States.  The dollar amounts are only to show approximate value of such items.  The value of this type of art varies tremendously depending on the artist, the area it comes from, and the items uniqueness.  Traditional colors of deep red brown and black are used on these pieces and they are done in what is called the Acoma style.  All of the pieces are hand made and no two are identical in shape or decoration. (all items are part of a private collection)
