Spirit
Breath
I mingled with your stars, drifting through your
heavens
I floated across your earthly grasses, wafting
between your
tall trees
As the moon broke through the clouds, your
oceans washed
across me
The cresting of early dawn above your snow
capped mountain, let
me drink in the scent of dew from mornings first
mist
I've watched in awe as a mother places her new
babe in a cradle
the touch of love gently brushing the curl from
brow
The celestial glow that radiates, when she suckles
her child
What wondrous blessings this brief gift of mortal
life
sweet fleeting moments retreat from spirits
breath
