Taken at 10,000 feet above sea level, in Great Basin National Park, Nevada, one of the "Islands in the Sky" of the Great Basin Deserts which lie between Utah's Wasatch and the Sierra Nevada mountain ranges, Sept 1998. A rewarding image requiring a little patience, in the presence of a gentle wind and a slow shutter speed of ~ 1/4 second. |
