At a recent public appearance, Eric Braeden got a blast from the past when a fan showed up with a photograph of the actor taken when he was a teenager in Germany. The fan's family knew Braeden's family back in their homeland, and they have treasured the photo since their village's favourite son made good. "I asked the gentleman if I could have it," Braeden reveals, "but he said, 'No, I just want your autograph. You have to give [the picture] back.' " Braeden respectfully obliged, and signed away a memento of his youth.
