Most Coveted Dressing Room - Melody Thomas Scott

Before the blonde bombshell took possession in 1981 of her dressing room just off Stage 43, it was home to Cher and was decorated in a style that only Sonny's outrageous ex truly could appreciate. Naturally, Scott was eager to make some changes. "I had been doing the show for a year or two before I asked - makybe it was during renegotiation - if we could, um, redecorate," says Scott archly. Now, the room is like home: comfortable, with overstuffed couches and a hutch filled with family photos and knick-knacks. The walls are decorated with framed magazine covers that feauture Scott alone, or with leading man Eric Braeden (Victor), along with other mementos of the actress' almost two-decade presence on the show. For her, it has truly become a home sweet home, away from home.
