As a mother, how are you different
from the character you play?
Melody Thomas: "The difference is that one is real and one
is not. I try to bring the emotions that I have for my
own daughter to my scenes with my on screen daughter,
Victoria. But if Ashley (the little girl who plays
Victoria) is bad, her mommy spanks her - I don't."
