Day 2

When I got up today I took my time getting ready. I decided that I would go to Sunset Station today. No offer or promos but I like it there. I also have no set level of play so can play what I want and not worry about maintaining a level of play. I do have $30 in free play available.
When I got there I had lunch at The Grand Cafe. I had the hot open turkey. It was very good except for the awful garlic toast under it. I realized from some signage that today was half points dining for My Generation players. Also known as 50+ or old people which, according to casinos I am now.
Time to hit the machines after lunch. I decided to take a shot at Spin Poker Deluxe for quarters. It's a bit rich for my normal liking. I set a loss limit which was quickly approaching. Very few dealt winners was killing me. Things changed when I held 2 cards to a royal and landed two of them!
I played a bit more and nothing else good happened so cashed out and switched to dimes to smooth the ride. This wasn't good either and I dropped 3 bills in pretty short order.
Next up I wandered around and hit some penny slots. Had a few nice hits and a few bad runs.
I took another shot at video poker and 10 play for quarters. Got whacked here for 3 bills with nothing dealt better than 2 pair and no quads.
I had plans to meet my uncle for dinner but it was still a few hours away. I didn't want to play anymore to preserve the wins I still had so went cross the street and hit a few stores to kill some time.
For dinner I met my uncle back at Sunset Station. We went to The Grand Cafe. I had the chicken parm. It was quite good for a cafe version.
After dinner my uncle played penny slots so I wandered around and watched him go at it. Not a good night for him. I can't recall ever seeing him get crushed so badly.
I ran my $30 free play through quarter triple play and turned it into just $13 which was quite weak.
I headed out of Sunset and came back to the Venetian. It was a really late night and finally got to bed around 4am.
I wrapped up the night up here in the room watching TV and then getting some sleep. A note for housekeeping actually got the two TVs that weren't working fixed.
