Day 3

When I got up today it was after 12 noon. Not really what I had planned to do for the day but this is what usually follows a night out with my uncle.

I decided I would go to Suncoast. No real reason other than I like it there. I played some 10 play video poker with no real wins or losses. Did about 2k in action and was down $25.

Dinner tonight was at 90 Ninety. I had the Stardust Chicken. It's two chicken breasts with mushrooms, bacon and cheese. It comes with asparagus and garlic mashed potatoes. Pretty tasty. I used points to cover the tab.

Next up was more video poker. I bounced around between single line and 10 play. Things were choppy and I was down about $200 until I got dealt quad deuces on 10 play. The profits were not lasting very long though and I cashed out close to even.

Next up I tried my luck with some penny games. No wins or losses but got a good amount of play.

I didn't know it but today was a gift day. I printed out a voucher and went to the gift area. They were giving away some Boyd labeled wine and a Silver Knights hat. I took the hat.

I wrapped up the night up here with one more round of video poker. The only reason was because I was close to having enough points to make it to Sapphire so I could actually start earning points again at Boyd properties and participating in their 50+ program. It was a smooth ride for the short session and I was down just $40 with enough tier to qualify.

On my way out I stopped at the gift shop for a few snacks and used points for the balance.

When I got back to the Venetian I bounced around playing some penny games. A few wins and a few losses and won a whopping $1.10 when I was done.

I finished up the night here in the room watching TV and getting caught up on e-mails.
