Day 7
Monday March 1, 2021
When I got up today I went back downtown. Today would be a carbon copy of yesterday now that it's a new month. Hopefully the results will be a carbon copy too.

I met up with Mike and he was pounding away. The rest of the machines in the Four Queens were all taken. I decided to run over to Binion's and play over there. I ran into the same problem.

I went over to the Golden Nugget where I planned to play a small amount like I usually do. I played a short pay 100 play game. Nothing great happened and I finished up with a small win.

I had on offer for a free kiosk game that was worth at least $75 in free play. It was a fake car race and I won $75. I ran that through a short pay video poker machine and turned it into 58 bucks.

I took a walk up and down Fremont and played some penny games along the way. Won a few bucks today but nothing close enough to recoup what was lost yesterday.

I went over to Binion's and got on a machine and began to pound away. Really good session with a good amount of quads and I finally hit some bonus quads today. One of those was dealt threes. There were also aces. I had doubled up the meter but had some swings during my play. I had most of the play here done for the day and it was lunch time.

I went back over to Four Queens and met up with Mike for lunch at Magnolia's. My friend Jim and his sister were eating when we arrived so we chatted a bit before they left. I got my usual bowl of gumbo and an order of rye toast. Always good stuff there. Mike covered the bill with his food credits that came with the room. Thanks Mike.

After lunch I went back over to Binion's to complete my play. I hit four aces again and had my meter tripled up. Then as soon as the second set of aces hit the bleed began. I went through 7 bills in a matter of minutes with a whole lot of nothing. Things turned a bit when I hit a straight flush and a bunch of full house in a short amount of time. When I had all of the play in I was up $800 and quite happy with the results.

I ran the $800 free play through dollars and turned it into $700. It was a tough run through but quad fours saved the day.

I went back over to Four Queens and met up with Mike again. I started off with Jacks or Better for dollars. Pretty smooth session for the most part to start things off. I was never up or down more than $100 early. 1/3 of the way through the play I was down about $100. Half way was I was up $200. I peaked my meter at $750 after I hit a straight flush. It got really bad after that. My meter quickly dropped and was down to $15. I popped a few quads and full houses to stay alive. I was down to the always deadly final 100 points and the bleed started again. After everything was done I was down $450. Not bad for the action but after hovering up and even most of the session it was a bit disappointing.

For dinner we went to Magnolia's and both got the prime rib. Really good meal for a cafe. Mike used a 2 for 1 coupon and charged the balance to his room. Thanks for dinner Mike.

After dinner all that was left to do was run through free play. I ran the $800 free play through dollar single line and turned it into $950 thanks to dealt quad tens.

After saying good bye to Mike (we both go home tomorrow) I came back to Caesars Palace. I finished my night early so I could prepare to head home tomorrow.

Total win/loss for the day + $2,155
Total Comps for the day $1,740
