Day 2
Friday April 30, 2021
Got up early and I played a little VP. I chose the Spin Poker machines. Had a decent run on spin poker at Silverton. Was up 350 thanks to double aces and two triple quads. Good amount of dealt winners. Things changed and I went from up $300 to down $300 in no time. Slow grind back and a couple of dealt full houses and flushes got me out with a $6 win.
Won $10 bucks in food on kiosk game. Used it at Sundance Grill on a fruit platter and toast. Hard to eff that up.
I ran the free play through UX five play for nickels and turned the $100 into $75 cash. I also won a few bucks on slots.
All in all I slept in their bed, ate their food, gambled and took $100 from them.
I came back to the room to grab my stuff and headed out. Today's move is downtown to the Four Queens. It's not really my preferred place to stay but for 1 night it will work.
When I arrived I was able to check in. I was given room 633. This is a king room with nightstands, dresser, TV, desk and fridge. It has a view of the roof and a little bit of Fremont Street. The bathroom is small with toilet, vanity and shower.
Both of us have mail offers for 3 nights, $75 food and $400 free play. They are also running a promo where you earn 1000 points you get an extra $100 free play.
Did all play on dollars. Very VERY smooth ride. With one valley. Never up more than $150. The valley had me down $475 and I hit a quad 2 full houses and a flush. Hovered through everything else. Hit an inordinate number of full houses and an inordinate amount of those were dealt (11). Flush 4 was filling in often.
After all play I was down $100 bucks.
I stopped by the players club to get the extra $100 added to my card. Ran all free play through dollars as well. Turned it all into $1325.
It was time for dinner and I met up with my friend Pat and his buddy Mike. We went to Benny's Smokin' BBQ and Brews. I had the brisket platter and a beer. We all had a great time hanging out, eating and drinking together. I covered the tab with my $75 room credit at the Four Queens.
All in all it was a pretty good day with lots of video poker action, good food and time with friends.
I took a walk up and down Fremont Street after dinner and played some penny slots. This was a total ass kicking. Couldn't seem to hit much of anything.
I finished up the evening in the room watching some TV and then went to bed.
Total win/loss for the day + $1,178
Total Comps for the day $2,028
