Day 2

Got up and started the day pretty early. The plan today was to head downtown and get in some of my plays down there. I decided on Binion's. I have an offer for 3 nights, $75 food, $250 free play and a special $75 comp to Whiskey Licker Up. They are also running a promo for every 100 points you get $10 in free play. You can do this for up to 4000 points. For doing 2000 points you get an extra $40 food comp and for hitting the 4000 points an additional $100 food comps. My plan is to do my normal amount of play at 1500 points which will give me $400 in total free play.

Jimbo was also planing on hitting downtown so picked me up on his way.

I started pounding away at 8/5 bonus for dollars. Really smooth session except for a few pockets of just nothing. At my lowest point I was down $385 and then hit a bonus quad to get back into the game. Things were still smooth and at the 2/3 point we took a break for lunch down $210. I stopped by the players club to get my $75 voucher and up to Whiskey Licker Up we went.

There was no way two of us were going to be able to use up the full $75 but we'd try!

I decided on the an order of their homemade potato chips. They are usually really good but they cooked the shit out of these and they were burned and all broken. I should have sent them back but I was starving at this point so said screw it, I'll just eat them. I got the meatball sandwich for my meal with fries. The sandwich had potential but the meatballs were way to spicy. I couldn't get past 2 of them. Jimbo got chicken fingers and fries. His food was much better. The bill came to about 50 bucks with drinks and of course the voucher covered it.

After lunch I ran the rest of my action. It started out well with 3 quads and a bunch of full houses in around 100 hands. I hovered for while hoping to hang on to what I was at (even) which would make this a great session. Nope, the machine would have none of that. The final 150 points sucked over 3 bills away. I finished the play down $310.

I went and had my additional $150 free play added to my card and ran it through for halves. I turned it into $575 cash. All in all a decent day at Binion's winning money and eating their food.

Next up I took shot at some penny games. I had a small win thanks to a $40 Wheel of Fortune bonus round.

We left Binion's and Jimbo dropped me off at the Hard Rock and I came upstairs to take a break.

After the break I went down to the sports book to watch the Vegas Golden Knights vs. Montreal in Game 2 of their playoff series. VGK lost 3-2. They didn't play well until the last 5 minutes of the game.

When the game was over I bought in at the craps table for $500. This is all of the action they are getting and they should be happy they are getting that. I also had a $20 free bet. I did win that but it would be about all I won. Table wasn't good at all. Dropped $400 here and gave up.

For dinner I had a couple of slices of pizza at Pizza Forte. Yeah, I actually paid for it. Decent pizza and very reasonable at $3.75 a slice plus 25¢ for a topping.

I wrapped up the night in the room with some TV and then went to sleep.
