Day 4

I had slow start to the day today and it was little tough to get motivated. Today is Dee's birthday. Always a rough day for sure but I'm in one of her favorite places at her favorite hotel playing her favorite game!

I got started on the 10 plays again. Really tough session. Few hits and lots of nothing. Blew through 5 bills in no time. Reloaded and got a little more play but not much. Blew through another 5 bills so down a grand on less than 10k in action and it was only 11am.

I took a lunch break to meet my long time friend Gary at the Earl Grey Cafe. I had the turkey platter. The food was good today and this is one of my regular meals here. As always I had a good time with Gary. We finally left after 3 ½ hours of conversation and some fun Dee stories.

After lunch I was back at it again pounding away at the video poker machines. Things were much better this time with the exception of a few small pockets of crap. Lots of dealt winners and quads were coming regularly. The highlight was getting dealt quad threes and pulling two straight flushes on one hand. I was up over $800 on the session but kept plugging along. Things got a little tough again so I decided to just take some profits ($500) to offset the losses from earlier in the day.

While I was playing I was watching the Vegas Golden Knights game and caught the 3rd period in the sports book. The game went into overtime thanks to a major flub by Fleury. The Knights lost it in overtime.

When the game was over I ran my free play through dollar single line. I was hoping for a quad which didn't happen. I turned today's $175 free play into $150 cash.

Dinner was a turkey club sandwich from the deli. Because it is Dee's birthday I also got a piece of carrot cake. It was her favorite. Happy Birthday Dee.

I came up to the room to eat my sandwich only to find out that housekeeping never serviced the room today. Nothing pisses me off more than when I leave the room by 9am and come back 12 hours later and the place hasn't been cleaned.
