Day 5

I got up and got started with the day. I left Rampart and went over to Silverton. I'm not staying here but I have an offer for 3 nights, $100 free play and $50 in food. I also had a father's day offer for $25 free play. I was not sure if I'm going to be able to double dip those but I was. That is part of the reason I am stopping here today. The other part is to get out of Rampart for a few hours. Jimbo & Katy are also going to stop by for lunch.

For lunch I had reservations for the Sundance Grill. It's still strange making reservations for the casino coffee shops. The last few times I've been here the food kind of sucked. I'm hoping things are better today. I went with the BBQ Chicken Club. Pretty good sandwich and I would get it again.

Jimbo and Katy left for Rampart and I played. I played my normal Spin Poker machines. Fairly smooth session with just one bad pocket. Thanks to a hand with triple quad aces I got back to life. Few other quads but dealt winners kept me going. I had my play in and was down $100.

I swiped at the kiosk after I played because they were running a “What the Shell” promotion that you can win food, gas cards, or free play. I won $15 free play taking my free play up to $140.

I ran my free play through single line dollars and turned the $140 of free play into $100 cash getting me dead even for the day. That works for me!

I left Silverton and came back up to Rampart.

Jimbo and Katy arrived and they'd be staying here for the next few nights. We're only overlapped for one day though because tonight is my last night here.

When I got back I took a short nap and then hit the casino. A little more 10 play action. Up and down with no major high or low points. Dropped $225 on 6k action.

For dinner I had reservations for Jade. Big gathering with myself, Jimbo, Katy, Anne, Steve, Jason and Stacy. I had the BBQ ribs and chicken lo mein. We all had a good time and left full.

After dinner we all hit the casino. I went back to my 10 plays. It was a fairly smooth session despite a lack of quads. There was a quick bleed and my meter went from $500 to $0 in minutes.

To end the night I ran my last $175 free play through half dollar single line and it became $220 in cash thanks to a bunch of straights and full houses.

I came up to the room and started getting ready to depart tomorrow.
