Day 7
Monday June 21, 2021
Slept in a bit and took it easy this morning.

When I hit the casino I started off by swiping at the kiosk. I collected this week's bonus points. I also activated a multiplier. This month Epic card holders get to pick 4 days where they get 5x points on video poker and 10x points on slots. This is going to be a huge help with cash back at the end of the trip. I also collected the free 15,000 points for this week too. Then I activated the free play from my newest mailer which was $420 again this time around.

I changed things up a bit and played some penny games first. Noting good or bad and pretty close to even.

I was getting hungry so went to an early lunch at Cafe Aquarius. I had chicken fingers and tater tots. The fingers are homemade and not out of a food service bag. With that said they were a little different than they had been in the past. Not bad, just a bit different.

I took a walk out on the river walk stopping playing penny games along the way. When I got to the Golden Nugget I had another $40 in free play so repeated the process from yesterday. The best hand was getting dealt trip threes and filling in 10 quads. I was still down $39 when I was done even with that hit.

Like yesterday I ran my $40 free play through the penny version and turned it into $30 cash.

After I was done playing I hit the deli for some ice cream and used comps to cover the cost.

I left the Golden Nugget and headed back to the Aquarius for some video poker action. Things went well right from the beginning with a set of aces just a few hands in. Soon after I was dealt trip aces and filled the quad on two lines. Other quads and dealt winners were coming and aces kept flowing. In total I hit aces 6 times. The highlight of the session was hitting a royal flush holding just king-ten. I wanted to continue playing but the bleed was starting to happen so I decided to quit while I was ahead and lock up the wins for the day cashing out +$1200 for the session.

I went to dinner at River Rock and ordered lasagna. It was pretty good. Not anything I'd call the greatest but far from the worst.

After dinner I ran my free play through $1 single line video poker in what was pretty much a repeat process of yesterday. Way too many hand with nothing to even hold and no pay out. I turned the $420 free play into just $300 cash again.

Even though it was still fairly early I decide to call it a night to lock up the profits for the day because nothing pisses me off more than hitting a royal and losing for the day.

Total win/loss for the day + $1430
Total Comps for the day $565
