Day 12

When I got up and ready for the day I took a trip downtown. I had multiple plans down there today.

First plan was to hit the Golden Nugget. I have an offer for 4 nights (not needed) and a $75 Amazon Gift Card. When I arrived I hit a short pay multi line video poker game because their video poker sucks here. I got my normal play in and when I was done I was up $3. I went to the players club to collect my gift card and was sent to the cage.

Next up was wandering around Fremont Street playing some slots along the way. A nice bonus round at Circa and another at Fremont gave me some nice profits.

For lunch I went to Fremont and Lanai Express. I got a two item combo with fried rice. Sweet and sour chicken and teriyaki beef. The chicken was good but the beef looked like someone cut up an old brown leather shoe and poured sauce on it. Really tough and colorless crap.

I left the downtown area went to the brand new Pinball Hall of Fame. Great new location on the Strip near the Welcome to Las Vegas sign and the Harley dealership. It's more than double the size of the previous location and will have a few hundred games when they move everything in. I'm still sad to see that most of the machines are in need of repair.

I left the Pinball Hall of Fame and went to M. I had dinner plans with Jimbo & Katy. Katy still has a bunch of comps from a few years ago from when we used to play there. I had a crispy chicken sandwich that I thought was pretty good but it was quite plain.

We left M and I came back to Sunset with a side trip to 99¢ Only and Wal-Mart for a few survival items.

When I got back to Sunset I took a walk through the casino and played some penny games. No wins or losses. Pretty much win one lose one.

I came to the room earlier than usual because I wanted to get to bed early. I have a big travel day planned tomorrow.
