Happy Canada Day To My Canadian Readers
Took it easy this morning and then went out to gas up the car for tomorrow's trip back to Las Vegas.

When I got back I had lunch at Brew Brothers. BBQ Bacon Burger. Pretty tasty burger that came with French fries.

Next up it was time to hit the casino. I decided that since video poker wasn't working I'd play craps. The table at Silver Legacy was packed so I walked over to Eldorado. I wasn't thrilled about it being a $25 game in the middle of the day in the middle of the week but that's the way things are now. I bought in for a grand and never needed more than my initial bet. Thanks to a shooter by the name of Rasheed and myself, the rack was filling up. We both hit a bunch of points with no effing around We'd set the point and then hit it the next roll. Most of my money was made on line bets with odds but a few shooters were rolling lots of numbers but not making the points. I was placing the inside numbers and pressing up a unit each time it hit.

I had almost tripled up before the table turned. We're talking set point, go out Set point, go out. It was my turn to shoot and I decided, nope, not this time. I've cut my own throat too many times in the past and colored up with a win of $1025.

After this I wandered through the casino excited about my first win in 5 days and played some penny slots. I won a few more bucks but nothing big.

I came back to Silver Legacy to play video poker. I had my mind made up I would not lose more than 1k to guarantee a positive day although the goal was NOT to lose it all.

I chose 100 play for nickels. This was a really smooth session. The smoothest of the whole Reno trip. Lots of trips and 2 pair and a few straights, and flushes. I was hovering right around +/- $100 the whole time and then I hit a royal out of no where. I continued to hover and a few more dealt straights kept me alive and a dealt flush. I was getting ready to quit for a dinner break when it happened. I was dealt the ultra dreaded A2345 straight flush for a $1,250 hand pay and a dreaded w2g. After the last few days I've had, I'll take it even though I'm aggravated that of all the straight flushes it could have dealt me, it was a backwards royal. $1,250 instead of $20,000.

I cashed out of the machine for a dinner break with the credit meter dead even, plus $1,250 in my pocket.

For dinner I went to Cafe Central one last time and got the wor won ton soup since it will probably be a year before I have it again.

After dinner I hit the machines to get in a little more play. I decided to bump up to dimes with a $500 loss limit. This was another smooth session with lots of high pairs and two pairs dealt to me. I was getting close to having my action done and I got dealt trips 3 times in 5 hands and a dealt flush. It was sure nice not having to keep reloading the machine. I cashed out once I had my play in and took another $400 profit. If only the last 4 days were half this good.

They were doing a drawing for 7* and diamond Elite players with 20 players getting $500 cash as part of their 4th of July weekend bash. While I waited for the drawing I played some penny games with a few small wins and a few small losses.

It was not time for the drawing. They started calling names and the emcee was more interested in doing a commercial for the place than calling names. Finally he started calling. I wasn't called in the first set or the second set. There's 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back.

I finished up playing my July free play of $90. I ran it through quarter five play and turned it into $96 cash.

I wrapped up early tonight and came up to the room to pack up and get ready for the trip back to Las Vegas tomorrow.

Total win/loss for the day + $2866
Total Comps for the day $299
