Day 18

I was up early this morning. I finished packing up and headed out for the long drive back to Las Vegas.

I pulled into Rampart at around 12:05pm. I took a slightly different route back down and with a 15 minute stop for gas and food (Burger King) in Tonopah the trip took 6 hours and 33 minutes from the time I pulled out of the Silver Legacy parking garage. I'll be here for the next 5 nights. I booked this through my host and my offer of 3 nights, $75 food and $1200 free play. Yes, $1200. Not sure why it spiked but I'll take it.

I checked in and was given room 6210 in the Palms tower.

I got my stuff up to the room and settled in for the 5 night stay.

Jimbo and Katy arrived shortly after I did so I met up with them and hit the machines. Had a decent session to start with some quads, dealt winners and aces twice. I was hovering for most of the session and then it turned and turned fast. Dropped 4 bills.

Met up with Pat and told some good stories and played a bit together. Had one hand with two bonus quads and aces and only won $2.

Met up with Jimbo and Katy again for dinner at Earl Grey Cafe. I had the 3 course Prime Rib special. It was quite good but the price is way up on this.

After dinner met up with Pat again and played some more video poker. Decent session and almost identical to the earlier one with quads and dealt winners to start then a quick bleed to end.

I went activated today's free play and ran it through $1 single line. Turned the $400 into $375 cash to cut my losses.

Met up with Pat again and played some penny games. Nothing major for me tonight but I did have a good bonus hit earlier in the day. That also helped offset the losses a bit.

I came up to the room and crashed. I think I was asleep before my head hit the pillow. Amazing I was up so late after being up so early.
