Day 23
Wednesday July 7, 2021
With no major plans today other than moving to Cromwell, I slept in and just took it easy all morning.

Once I was motivated I headed out.

My main stop today was Binion's. Identical offer to Four Queens. When I got there and came out of the elevator from the parking garage I walked towards the bathroom not far from there and what do I see? A one hundred dollar bill laying on the floor to the entrance of the bathroom.

Next up was lunch at the deli and a burger. Always good and today was no exception.

Now it's time to play. I decided to play dollars today. Pretty smooth start with just one pocket of nothing. I kept going and got dealt quad aces. Yeah, where were these when I was playing 10 play the last 5 days. I'll take 'em though.

Flush 4 started out killing me again but leveled off like it should. Full houses were weak at first but then they started coming at a rapid pace too. I got more dealt full houses and flushes today than in the last few days on 10 play. Quads were also coming but not as quickly as I would have hoped and other than the aces not one single quad was of the bonus variety.

I was up when I got to the final 200 points or so but I know what usually happens at this part of the day. Luckily I was dealt another quad, this time jacks, and got dealt a full house, drew a full house and hit another full house on a 1 card hold all with in about 10 hands.

Now for the last 50 points or so and I'm not as worried because the meter was up and I was at a place where even if I lost 50% of my hands I'd still be a winner. When the play was done I was up $515 for one of my better days here at Binion's.

I went to the players club to have the bonus free play added and got $150 added to my mailer of $250 for $400.

I ran this through for dollars as well. One of the best sessions ever with not one but two quads. One was my 3rd dealt quad of the day. Also a bunch of full houses. Too bad the entire session didn't go this way. I cashed out the free play at $885 giving me a total win of $1400 on the day plus the $100 I found on the floor.

I left Binion's, got to the Cromwell, threw the rest of my stuff into the room and went to over to Paris.

For dinner I had reservation at Matorano's at Paris. Jimbo & Katy and their friends would be joining me. I've been to the Atlantic City version of this place before but never at Paris. I got the chicken Parmesan for my entree, fried mozzarella as an appetizer. The food was good and the portions are a good size here. I still had some let over wiggle room on a celebration dinner so ordered some desserts to use the rest up. Mini ice cream cones, cannoli, and cheesecake were brought to the table. The desserts were a rip at $15 a pop, especially the mini ice cream cones. All in all the meal was good and a good time was had by all.

I covered the $411 bill with 4 celebration dinner vouchers and some cash.

After dinner I took a walk over to Paris to see if Ned the dealer was around but I didn't see him. I also played some penny games at Paris and Bally's with little luck but didn't lose much at all.

I came back to the Cromwell and hit the craps table. They've gotten rid of 100x odds and have reverted to 3-4-5x. Kind of a bummer but on a $15 table there's no way I was taking much more than 3-4-5 anyway.

The table was choppy from the start. We'd get one good shooter and then 3 bad ones. This is pretty much how it was the whole time. Not a terrible session until the end when it just got bad with just about everyone going out on their first roll. I got out with “just” a $500 loss but did get to play for over 3 hours.

I got to the room a little after midnight and just crashed.

Total win/loss for the day + $989 <--- Includes $100 found on floor
Total Comps for the day $1,135
