Day 25

Well, this is it. The final day in town. Not even a full day because the flight home is tonight.

When I got up I packed up my stuff and got ready for the trip home. I had a 1pm check out time so took my time getting ready and left right at 1pm.

I left the Cromwell and decided to go Sam's Town of all places. I haven't been here in years and had no real plans to play here. I just always liked it there. When I arrived it was like I had never left. I played a few penny games and hit a bonus for 50 bucks and cashed out.

I had a late lunch/early dinner at the deli. Just a roast beef sandwich and fries. I used some of my old points to cover the bill.

Before I left I swiped at the kiosk to see if there was anything going on and saw I had $10 free play. I ran it through a slot and got $2 out of it.

I left Sam's Town and went to the Pinball Hall of Fame to kill the final few hours of the trip. Always fun and inexpensive. I just wish they could keep up on the maintenance and repairs of the games.

It was getting about time to think about heading to the airport so I wrapped up my play and got out of there.

The first stop was to get gas for the car. Next up was returning the car. This went well. I was surprised that for a Friday night the rental car facility was pretty slow and Avis had plenty of cars in the lot.

I hopped on the shuttle to the airport. It's setting in that the trip is near the end.

When I got to the airport I checked in and dropped the bag. This went well because I got to use the preferred line since I'm flying Delta ONE again tonight.

Security was a cluster fuck. They had first class and pre check using the same TSA line and same x-ray line. That combined with people that still don't get it, and this took 40 minutes to clear.

I found my gate and waited for boarding to start. When it did I took my seat 1A. This is flight 1471 scheduled to depart at 10:40pm and arrive in NYC at 6:41am with a 5 hour flight time. An announcement was made that it was going to take 4:36.

Once we were up in the air I put the seat down and went to sleep. As great as flying like this is, I'm totally spoiled. There's nothing like it. The flight was a bit bumpy the whole way home. Nothing major, just enough that you could feel it the whole flight.
