Day 26
Saturday July 10, 2021
We landed at JFK at 6:20am.
I was off the plane and made my way to baggage claim. This was long walk since our gate was about the farthest away it could be. My luggage was already on the conveyor so there was no waiting.
Next up was the shuttle to Avis to pick up a car for the drive home. Originally I was supposed to fly home during the day today and my reservation was for 8pm. I made the change by phone yesterday but my name wasn't on the board when I arrived. An agent quickly got me a vehicle and I was on my way.
I was given Mitsubishi Outlander with only 3600 miles on it and was on my way. Being Saturday there wasn't much traffic on the roads in the NYC area yet.
On the way home I stopped at a local diner for breakfast before making the rest of the drive home.
I pulled into the driveway at 10:00am as another Las Vegas vacation came to an end.
Total win/loss for the day $0
Total Comps for the day $0

- The weather was in the 100-120 degree range in Las Vegas & Laughlin
- We were hitting record high temperatures the first week I was in town
