Day 2
Tuesday September 14, 2021
Today when I finally got up I went downtown to Binion's and Four Queens. I had the usual offers of $400 free play. Play at Binion's was spotty. Smooth for a while then rough. I got dealt aces and hit quad nines and quad fours and at the halfway mark was down around $250.

I took a lunch break over at Magnolia's Veranda at the Four Queens. I got my usual bowl of gumbo and order of toast to go with it.

After lunch I took a stroll up and down Fremont street playing some penny games along the way. Had a nice $200+ bonus that gave me a nice profit for that run.

Made my way back to Binion's for the rest of my play there. It was streaky again putting me into a hole that was getting a little deep. A bunch of quads, mostly of the bonus variety, dug me out of it.

By the time I was done with the play I was only down around 100 bucks. I'll take that.

I ran through my $400 free play through and thanks to quad fives finished with $450. I ran Dee's free play through and turned her $400 into $350. All in all I finished up at Binion's with a $700 profit.

Something new Binion's is doing is a free daily slot tournament after you earn a certain number of points. I got my entry and played my session. I missed scoring some free play by a few thousand points and instead got a t-shirt for my troubles.

Now over to Four Queens to run some action over there. I settled in at 9/6 jacks for dollars and plugged away. Fairly smooth session with the usual pockets of crap that would dig me into a hole and then a few quads would pull me out. Finished the action with a small profit for a change. I ran the $400 free play through and hit a dry spell only turning it into $300.

For dinner I went over to Binion's and got some BBQ at Benny's BBQ and Brews. I had the brisket tonight. It comes with corn, beans, slaw and corn bread. Good as always.

I left the downtown area and came came back to Virgin. I took a short break and then hit the craps tables. This wasn't a good session and I dropped around 6 bills in what seemed like 6 minutes. It's tough to ride out the cold spells on a $15 game with a small buy in.

I hopped around the casino for a while playing some penny games. I hit a few bonuses to keep me going and took a little profit.

It was getting late but I was hungry so I went to the Kitchen again and got an order of macaroni and cheese. It was pretty good and I'd get it again.

After eating I ran my free play through the short pay VP machines for nickels and turned it into $342. This seemed like a good time to call it a night.

Total win/loss for the day + $1,016
Total Comps for the day $1,831
