Day 3

I got up this morning and took my time getting ready. My flight home isn't until tonight so I've got all day to have some fun.
I decided to play another short session of craps here at Virgin this morning. The hope was to recoup some of last night's losses. No luck there and was lucky to get out virtually even. I did get to play for a while though so the few dollars (literally a few dollars) was worth it.
I came up to the room and gathered my things and headed out. I still had a long time before I had to go to the airport and wasn't sure what to do. I was hungry so I stopped off at Jack in the Box for some tacos and a Jr bacon cheeseburger. This was of course paid for with the gift card from Yahtzee Mike last Christmas. Thanks for lunch Mike.
From Jack in the Box I decided to go up to M. I hadn't been here in a while and didn't have any offers. Since my days of playing here my rating has turned to shit. I decided to buy in at the craps table. They had a $10 game going to straight up 5x odds.
Streaky game and I was almost busted out of $700 when I had a 25 minute roll. I got myself ahead a little bit and I was happy about that. Unfortunately I was down when this run started so I was betting conservatively. I would have made a good chunk of change if I wasn't down so much. I cashed out with a $9 win of which I gave the dealers $4 of so a net win of $5. Not exactly what I was hoping for but I'll take it.
With just a few hours to go I went down to the Pinball Hall of Fame of wrap up the trip. That $5 win at M was all I needed to have some good fun here. After about 2 hours, I was off to return the rental car.
Returning went well and I was on the shuttle back to the airport in no time. I had already checked in on the app and went right to security. Things were a little slow here but it didn't seem that people were misbehaving. I was finally through an hopped the monorail to the D gates.
I was fairly early so wandered around a bit. I took a shot with $20 on some penny slots and got lucky and hit nice pay off on one game cashing out for a $26 win. You know it's been a pretty good trip when you can win money at the airport.
Boarding began and I took my seat and waited to head home. This is flight 2378 non stop to Newark scheduled to depart at 9:45pm and arrive in Newark at 5:28am with a flight time of 4 hours and 43 minutes. The usual announcement was made that it was only going to take about 4 hours and 20 minutes. We took off on time and the flight was smooth the whole way back. I got a little bit of sleep to get by.
When we landed I was one of the first off the plane and headed right to the car. Of course we were at one of the farthest gates possible from the monorail to the parking garage.
I got to my car and headed home. Being early I figured I'd get through everything before the morning rush started. Other than a small pocket of heavy rain, the drive was smooth sailing. I pulled into my driveway around 7:20am and this mini trip came to an end even though I'm still a registered guest of Virgin Las Vegas for about 8 more hours.
