Day 2
Monday November 1, 2021
I started the day by walking over to Fremont Street. First stop was over to Binion's to hit my November offer. Same as it's been at $400 free play. They are also running a promo for an additional $30 free play for 300 points and a $10 food comp for 100 points.

The play was pretty smooth to start and continued. Had the usual pockets of crap but quads were coming and they were all of the bonus variety. While I was playing Albert showed up and joined me. I haven't seen Albert since before the pandemic started. It was good to catch up. I continued plugging along and popped quad aces and a few more bonus quads. Then out of nowhere on a 3 card hold a popped a royal flush for a sweet $4000. My host came over to congratulate me and offered a meal comp (like I need more food here) and we agreed to $40 for BBQ tomorrow night.

The play continued to be good with another set of aces and a few more quads including dealt kings. This is when the bleed started and surprise, it was around the last 150 points or so. The meter was dropping when I got dealt a straight flush. That didn't last long. The bleed continued and the meter went from $1220 to $850 when I hit another quad. I had the play in and cashed out at $900 for a $400 win plus the $4000 royal.

Amazingly, while I was playing Albert was dealt RF4 and said hey, what are the odds of this? Reply, 1 in 47, hits the deal button and pops a royal of his own. You didn't think he'd let me have all the glory did you?

I stopped by the players club to get the food comp and free play added to my card as well as the daily slot tournament voucher.

Next was lunch at Magnolia's Veranda at Four Queens. I got the usual gumbo and order of toast. Albert covered the bill with his many comps. Thanks for lunch AP!

After lunch I tried to check in at Golden Nugget but the line was about 30 people deep so decided to do that later on. I came back to the Cal to take a short break and send some e-mails instead.

I went back over to Binion's to run my free play and hang out with Albert. I hit a quad on my 3rd hand and turned the $430 free play into $500 cash.

We both cashed out did our slot tournament sessions. I beat Albert but didn't score quite high enough for a free play prize. I declined the t shirt.

It was getting close to dinnertime so we walked over to the Four Queens to meet up with our friend Wayne. I haven't seen either of these guys in a few years and was really looking forward seeing them.

I tried the Tart Cherry Chicken for something different and it was really good. I would get it again in the future if I didn't want beef.

The total bill was around $250 for the 3 of us. Wayne used his $75 food credit and I covered the rest with some of my many comp dollars.

After dinner we walked Fremont Street playing slots at each place. Win a few and lose a few and I cashed out down a total of 40¢ so almost as close to even as you can get. Albert left and me and Wayne continued the walk when he ended the night at Circa where he was staying. He goes home tomorrow but will be back in a few weeks and we're planning a dinner then.

Next up was going over to the Golden Nugget to check in. I booked this on a mail offer good for 3 nights, a throw blanket (and can earn an additional blanket through play) and I also have $45 in free play.

I was given room 478 in the Carson tower. This is room with two double beds, nightstand, dresser, make up table and flat screen TV. There is a view of the road below and the parking garage. The bathroom is small with a vanity, toilet and tub.

After making sure the room was OK I came back here to the Cal and wrapped it.

Total win/loss for the day + $4,900
Total Comps for the day $794
