Day 3

I started off the day here at the California to get in some play before heading over to the Golden Nugget. Today is Young at Heart for 50+ and offers 10x points so it made sense to wait until today to get some play in. I have no set amount I want to put in which is nice so if I get ahead I can just quit.

I played a variety of slots to start and won a whopping $5.

I tried some 10 play video poker for quarters next and dropped almost $500 on just 3k in action hitting only 1 quad the whole time. I hate losing this much, this fast at one of my secondary casinos.

I left the California and drove over to the Golden Nugget. This was quite the drive and I should have packed a meal for the ride. I took my stuff up to the room and then went over to Binion's for lunch. I used the $10 comp I earned through their promo yesterday and got a cheeseburger at the deli.

Next up I went over to the Four Queens. With November here I had the same offer as Binion's yesterday. I started off with penny 100 play and just got my ass kicked. Even with a dealt quad I dropped almost 5 bills on only 4k in action.

I switched to single line jacks for halves. Much better over here but with a few swings. I hit five quads and only won $50 on 2k in action.

Dinner tonight is at Benny's Smokin' BBQ and Brews with Albert and our friend Jim and his friend Rick. Between us we've got $80 in host comps. I got the full rack of ribs. We all had a great time eating and telling stories. The total bill was $91 so between me and Albert with $80 of it covered, Jim charged the balance to his room to use some of his food credit.

After dinner I went back over to the Four Queens to finish up my action. Single line for halves broke me even in another session that had an abundance of quads but nothing else.

I decided on some nickel short pay multiline just to change things up and got my ass kicked there for another couple hundred. I returned to the penny 100 play games where I got the rest of the play in and cashed out even thanks to a royal.

I went to the players club after I was done and got the additional free play added to my account and got my $10 food comp.

I ran the free play through quarter single line and turned the $430 into $430 cash thanks to a quad and a bunch of full houses. I was glad to have hit those because I was going 15-20 hands in a row at times with no winners at all.

I pretty much got my ass kicked at the Four Queens today but thanks to free play it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

I left Four Queens and hit a few casinos playing some slots along the way. This ended up saving the day when I hit a bonus and a progressive.

I got back to the room around midnight and wrapped it up.
