Day 5

Got up early this morning and get ready to head out. I have a COVID test booked for 9am so I can board the cruise on Saturday.

I left the Golden Nugget and headed to the testing site. I met my friends Anne and Steve and Evelyn there.

After we were tested, next up was Silverton to meet up with everyone for breakfast. I would also be checking in here today for a one night stay. I booked this through a mail offer of 3 nights, $100 free play and $50 food.

For breakfast we went to Sundance Grill. The last few times I was here the food and service really sucked. Today was better.

I ordered the deuces wild. Two pancakes, 2 sausages, 2 bacon, and hash browns.

Everyone left and I made a stop off at CVS to get a few things for the cruise and then to the bank. No walk of shame here. A nice fat deposit was in order today.

I came back to Silverton and checked in. I was given room 2089. It's a king room with nightstands, dresser, desk, flat screen, a couch and a coffee table. The bathroom is small with a standard tub, toilet and vanity. There is a view of an alley.

I got my stuff to the room and I started my day of play. I picked my usual Spin Poker machines. It was a little streaky at first but things leveled off. I hit a hand with triple quad aces, followed by a few more aces shortly after. I was up quite a bit and then hovered for a while. One short part of the play I had a triple bonus quad, aces again and another triple quad. I was plugging along when out of nowhere I hit a royal on a 2 card hold.

I looked at my points for the session and the credit meter. I had enough play in for the day, and I was up another $500 on top of the royal and still had my $100 in free play.

I decided I had too much cash on me again so took another quick trip to the bank. This is the first time ever that I went to the bank twice in a day to make deposits!

I came back to Silverton and got a comp for dinner. I went to WuHu Noodle and got the Mandarin Noodle Soup. It's noodles, bok choy, and choice of meat. I went with BBQ pork. Really tasty. I'd get it again if I came back.

After dinner I ran my $100 free play though dollar single line. I won almost every hand and cashed out at $100 once it was run through.

I wandered around after this playing some penny games and hit a bonus round for $100 and a few other decent hits. Some days things just go well and today was one of them!

I called it a night early because I have to get up early tomorrow for the flight to California.
