Day 11

When I got up today I got ready and went downtown. I had plans to play at the D. I also have dinner plans with my buddy Wayne to go to Andiamo for dinner.

When I got to the D the first order of business was to turn in a coupon from Las Vegas Advisor for $5 for play for every 50 points up to $100. Today is also a promo I have for double my normal offer so $150 instead of my normal $75. I also got a $25 match play.

Once that was done I went up to the Vue Bar to start pounding away at quarters. It was not a good session. I only hit 5 quads all day. I did take down a straight flush for a $75 progressive but of course it was the dreaded king high edition. I got good play but still dropped $300 on 6.5k

It was time to go to dinner. I was meeting my friend Wayne here to use up some comps. I ordered the rib eye which is my go to meal here and a side of cheesy cauliflower. Really good and I have no idea what they do the their steaks but they have amazing flavor.

The bill was just over $160. Wayne covered most of it with his monthly food offer and I covered the balance with mine. A great meal and a great time.

After dinner I finished my play. In the interest of time I switched to dollar action. I blew through $300 with nothing better than one straight. I reloaded and it leveled off but I couldn't hit anything. No quads but a few full houses an straights saved me. I got all of the play in with a total of $300 in losses to go with the $300 on quarters.

I went to the players club to get my additional free play added to the $150 I already have for $250 in total. I ran it through $1 single line and a few full houses got me out even with $250 in cash.

On my way out I stopped at a roulette table and played my $25 match play on black. The wheel spun and 4, black, even got the ball for a quick $50 hit.

I left the D and came back up to GVR and hit the craps table. Choppy session with some good shooters and lots of bad ones. After a few hours I colored up and had exactly 100 bucks more than I started with.

After I cashed out I played some penny games and some carnival video poker games like the different variations of Ultimate X. I got on a good run and hit a royal flush for 8000 dimes. I kept playing, probably too long and gave back a good portion of the winnings but still ended with almost $600 in winnings.

I was hungry after this so went to the Lucky Penny Cafe. I got the American Breakfast. Three eggs, bacon, hash browns and rye toast.

When I was done eating I came back to the room to day light coming through my window. I had pulled an all nighter for the first time in a long time but I was having fun so it was worth it.
