Day 5
Saturday December 18, 2021
I slept in today because of the late night shooting craps at the Cromwell. I got caught up on some e-mails and then got ready for the day.

Today is a tough day. It was 3 years ago today that we lost Dee.

For lunch I had plans to meet my good friend Gary down at the Linq at Guy Fieri's Vegas. I normally get the Motley Cue Sandwich here but decided to change it up a bit and got the Huli Chicken Sandwich. While it was good, the chicken was a bit overcooked. I'd get this again if I wanted to switch it up from the pork.

After a lengthy lunch and good time with Gary I came back to the room for a break.

For dinner I met up with friends Anne, Steve, Jason and Evelyn at Beijing Noodle #9 over at Caesars Palace. We ordered a bunch of food and had a huge buffet of stuff. Everything I tried was really good.

After dinner I played a few penny games and win a few bucks. Then I came back to Cromwell and hit the craps tables. Pretty smooth session for the most part plus or minus a few hundred either direction. Then one bad run where 7 shooters in a row set their point and went out the next roll. This was painful and drained the buy in. Things smoothed out again but were still choppy. I got the dice and went on a short heater. I rolled for about 15 minutes on a dead table which was pretty huge. I got most of the losses back. The table went choppy again and I started losing. I ended up down $1225 so almost everything I won last night was gone. Oh well. It happens.

Finally got to bed around 3am.
