Day 8
Tuesday December 21, 2021
I started off the day getting ready and packing up for the move.

I left the Cromwell and was on my way to Summerlin and the JW Marriott at Rampart. I booked this through my host for the next 5 nights. I also have a mail offer for $1200 in free play (split over 3 days), $75 in food and an additional $60 in food for my birthday.

When I arrived I was able to check in. I was given room 6244 in the Palms tower. This is a one bedroom suite.

There is a small entryway with powder room to the left. The living room has a couch, chair, coffee table, TV, wet bar, desk, dining room table and flat screen TV.

The bedroom has a king bed, nightstands, chair, dresser and flat screen TV. There's a walk in closet leading to the bathroom.

The bathroom is huge with a jetted tub, his and hers vanities separated by a wall, and shower stall. The toilet is in a separate room.

There is a view of the golf course and Summerlin Parkway.

I got my things up to the room and settled in for the next 5 nights and took a short break.

After the break I hit the casino. It was a choppy session with only a handful of quads. The best being double aces on one hand but it wasn't enough. I dropped 5 bills on 16k in action so not terrible but certainly not good.

I ran today's $400 free play through deuces for dimes. I was was able to turn it into $302 cash with few hits.

I left Rampart and went downtown. I have an offer at the D for $75 in free play and today & tomorrow they are doubling it to $150. In the interest of time I pounded away at dollars to get the play run through quickly.

I ran the free play through and turned the $150 into $152 cash.

For dinner I went to Hugo's Cellar at the Four Queens to meet my friend Wayne. We had a great meal but when the bill came we realized the they jacked the prices substantially since the last time we were there. Wayne covered the bill with his room credit and comps. Thanks Wayne.

After dinner we wandered around Fremont Street. Some penny games along the way were in order. Some wins, some losses. Nothing major to report though.

When I got back to Rampart I hit the machines again. I took a shot with Spin Poker Deluxe. It worked out when I got dealt quad 7's. I played a bit more and started bleeding so cashed out with a win of $150.

I wrapped up the day up in the room with some TV.

Total Win/Loss For The Day = - $3
Total Comps For The Day = $629
