Day 16
Wednesday December 29, 2021
I left the Aquarius for a while to run some errands and to drop off some laundry across the river in Bullhead City for fluff and fold service.

When I returned I once again started the day with a kiosk swipe for my 5x/10x multiplier.

Next up was video poker as always. The session started out tough but smoothed out with quads and dealt winners. The highlight was landing my 4th royal flush of the trip! I continued to play and things were going well for most of the time. I went through a bit of a dry spell and things seemed like they were turning so I took a break.

I wandered around playing some penny games with some nice hits and bonus rounds and made a decent profit.

Next up was more video poker. It was tough going with not many hits or dealt winners. Things changed a bit when I got dealt quad sixes. Even with those I was still down for the session. Things didn't get much better after this so I cashed out with just $100 loss and went to lunch.

Lunch was at Cafe Aquarius. I had a bowl of chicken noodle soup and an order of chicken tenders and tater tots. I had my fill of salt and headed back out to the casino and another round of video poker. Things were smooth for most of the session but got tough with a quick drain. I actually blew through 5 bills and reloaded. A few hands after the reload I was dealt quad jacks. From here things got really good. Before long I was back to even. It was similar to last night where “stuff” just kept the meter growing. Dealt winners, hands with multiple quads, even hands with multiple straight flushes were rolling in one after another. I was up over $900 and that was after being down over $500. I continued to plug away but the fire seemed to have gone out so I cashed out with a $700 win.

Another round of penny games worked out well with some smaller wins and then another round of video poker had me drop 3 bills. I did get to play for a while because it was just a slow gradual bleed.

I decide to take a shot at some Super Times Pay. I opted for 5 play. Pretty smooth with a few multipliers but nothing too great. That was until I 10 – K – A – (off suit) when the STP when off. I got the 10x and was saying to myself jack, queen. Jack, Queen as the jack and queen showed up for the dealt straight for 200 coins each. I had doubled up and played a bit more but things went downhill from there. I cashed out with a $100 win.

I took a walk down the river walk for the first time this trip. It was actually the first day the weather wasn't windy and/or rainy. I passed through the Edgewater and went over to the Tropicana. I had an offer for a whopping $5 in free play and $5 in food. I played some penny games and hit a few bonus rounds for a small profit. Not much else other than that.

I transferred some points from my main Caesars card to the “local” card they are still using down here in Laughlin and went to the Carnegie Cafe. There was a line about 10 people deep which I didn't understand because there were a lot of empty tables in here. I passed by everyone that was in line giving the hostess their names, flashed my 7* card and was seated immediately. Oh, if looks could kill, I wouldn't be here writing this report right now. I found out quickly why there were so many empty tables. They had one server.

I ordered a chicken fried steak with mashed potatoes and vegetables. Nothing special and the steak was right out of a bag. It filled the void and I was on my way.

A few more penny slots on they way out to run my free play through and I was on my way with a full belly and a few extra bucks in my pockets.

I came back to the Aquarius via Edgewater and called it a night.

Total Win/Loss For The Day = + $1,464
