Day 17

This it it. The final day of the trip. All in all it's been a great trip but it's not quite over yet.

First task of the day is to go over to Bullhead City. Top off the gas tank, pick up laundry and of course, a stop at Jack in the Box.

When I got back to the Aquarius I came up to the room to start packing up.

Most of my stuff was packed so it was time to go hit the casino one more time.

Even though I'm not staying on a New Year's Eve offer part of the NYE offer was for a 10x bonus points offer for up to 3 nights between 12/30 and 1/2. I wasn't sure if VP is lower like it usually is. I also didn't know if I was going to get this points offer but a swipe at the kiosk showed it available. I of course accepted it and VP was 10x points and didn't decipher whether it was only slots or if it was anything. I'll know for sure when I check my balance tomorrow.

It was time to start pounding away at the machines for the final day. I decided to take a shot at halves because I was up quite a bit this trip so far. This was a huge waste of time and money. I blew through 5 bills before I could blink.

In another attempt at a shot I decided on $2 single line. Things started out rough with no hands better than trips. I finally started getting some higher hands and things smoothed out. When I got dealt quad jacks things really turned. Soon after I hit quad sevens. Full houses, flushes, and trips were hitting one after another. It was similar to the ten plays the last few days. A few bonus quads hit and then I popped a set of aces for 8 bills. My credit meter was so high that when I was hitting larger hands a ticket would print out (anything over $3000 on the meter printed a ticket).

I got dealt four to a royal and thought holy shit, could lightning strike again like it did last time I took a shot a $2 VP? Fuck yeah it could! It didn't, but it could have!

I continued to roll and hit a few more quads and then a straight flush on a 2 card hold. I actually had more in tickets than I had bought in for ($1000). Things started slowing down and I started getting low paired and single high carded over and and over. After blowing through a few hundred with no winner at all, I cashed out with a $2600 win.

I took another shot at halves on ten play and another 5 bills was gone in a hurry. I don't mind losing when I take a shot but it seems like this was gone faster than the first time.

I decided to take a break and played some penny games. I hit a few bonus rounds and made a small profit but nothing outstanding.

I took another shot at 10 play but this time toned it back to quarters. I got a good amount of play although I was never really ahead. I did get dealt quad kings and that actually saved me this session. While I was playing there was a guy at the bank behind me coughing his ass off. Now a couple of coughs I could deal with but this guy was non stop. I decided to get the fuck out of the area and cashed out with a $100 win.

For a late dinner I went to Cafe Aquarius. I had the hot open turkey sandwich. Pretty good but I still rank Lucky Penny at GVR better.

With all of my play done for the trip and with a 5x multiplier every day, I had amassed a large number of points. I cashed in 350,000 points for $700 in free play. I decided to run it through 10 play and turned it into $775 in cash. What a day!

That pretty much did it for the trip. I came up to the room and packed up most of my stuff for the trip home tomorrow.
