Day 2
Monday January 31, 2022
I slept in to start the day. I have a few plays that I need to get through today.

I have offers for both Four Queens and Binion's for three nights, $75 food and $500 free play. I didn't book rooms at either place and the plan is to do my normal play at both places to take advantage of the $500 in free play.

I started with food and went to Magnolia's Veranda. I met up with Jim. I got my usual bowl of gumbo and a side of toast to go with it. Always good and filling. Jim used some of his room credits to cover the tab. Thanks for lunch Jim.

Now, it's time to play. First up was the Four Queens. This play was going to take quite a bit longer than the play at Binion's because the geniuses here decided to remove the dollar denomination from the 9/6 jacks machines so I need to play halves. Up and down and a lack of much of anything for a while. Finally got dealt quad queens to get back into it. Things remained tough and at the 400 point mark I got quad fours. I cashed out down just $50.

I switched to penny 100 play to change things up. Fairly good session but streaky. Especially the last 150 points. The thing that really saved me was hitting 9 royals during this play.

Once I had the action in I was up 85 cents!

I ran the $500 free play through single line 9/6 jacks for halves turning it into $500 cash despite hitting two quads (one dealt) in the first 10 hands.

For dinner I had reservations for 5 of us at Andiamo over at the D. Also joining me are my friends Wayne, Pat and Mike and Jim.

I ordered my usual rib eye, medium rare and got a side of risotto and asparagus to go with it.

The food was great and the 5 of us just had a fantastic time together.

Pat, Jim and Wayne all had $150 food credit so used theirs to cover the bill. We didn't need mine at all. Thanks for a great time guys.

After dinner I got the rest of my play in over at Binion's. Tough and up and down and as close to even as you can get without actually being even. No real hands of note. Just the right amount of everything.

I ran the $500 free play through for halves and it was rough turning it into only $415.

Next up was some slots on Fremont Street. Not much doing and I won like 8 bucks!

I finished up the night in the room with some TV.

Total win/loss for the day + $988
Total Comps for the day $1,144
