Day 3
Friday June 17, 2022
Day 3 Friday June 17, 2022 After I got up and got motivated today I went downtown again since yesterday was kind of fun. Also had plans to meet up with Jim. Today the bulk of my play would be at the D.

For lunch I planned on Magnolia's. Texted Jim and he had sat down at 8 East at Circa. I ran over there and joined him. Never ate anywhere at Circa so this was a first. I had a pork belly bao and crispy fried chicken skins. Really good but a bit pricey. Jim covered the tab with his comps. Thanks for lunch Jim.

Next up was some play at the D. Up to the Vue Bar we went. I needed to get my action in a little faster so played dollars. I hit quad deuces and a regular quad right away getting up over $300. Flush 4 was filling in so often I was actually over 50% on those hits. Straight 4 was the opposite and I was around 25 in before one filled. I played on this profit for quite a while before the bleed. I couldn't land a quad to save my life and full houses were non existent.

The regular quad had gone up to over $50 on the quarter game with the straight flush over $100 so switched to quarters. I didn't hit the quad but some a-hole sitting to my left did. That same a-hole also took down the progressive royal flush.

I switched back to dollars and still got crushed. I actually had to reload. That was a $600 swing I wasn't happy about. I hit a few more quads and full houses to stay alive. Things totally changed when I hit my first royal of the trip for $4000!

Play continued after I got paid and I was able to hover until it was time for dinner. A few bonus quads along the way and I cashed out down just $100 (excluding the royal).

Dinner was at Andiamo with my friend Jim. I got my usual ribeye! I also had the small side of pasta they serve and like a pig ate Jim's too (he passed on the pasta). We covered the bill using both of our monthly offers.

I came back to the Orleans and hit the casino. A little play on 10 play and got totally clobbered. One of the worst 10 play sessions ever. Reminded me of the Christmas trip back in 2015 or so where me and Dee got clobbered every day of the trip with no play. I dropped close to 1k on just 5k in action never even hitting a quad and no dealt winners better than trips.

I decided to play some penny slots machine hopping. That worked out well with a $300 win thanks to some good bonus rounds.

Total Win/Loss For The Day = + $3257
Total Comps For The Day = $207
