Day 4

Day 4 Saturday June 18, 2022 Got up early today for a change. Today is always a tough day with it being Dee's birthday. Tough to think that's it's been 3 ½ years since we lost her. However, she wouldn't want anyone sitting around feeling bad for her.

Once I was ready I went over to South Point. The main reason was to attend the Casino Collectibles Show. I don't really collect much anymore but haven't been to a show in years.

On the way there I stopped at Jack in the Box for couple of tacos.

I enjoyed going through the show and checking out all of the collectibles. It wasn't as good as it used to be though. Not nearly as many dealers and not much other than chips now. One of the dealers even said every year there are less an less vendors and less and less visitors to the show.

After the show I hit the casino. I don't play to any level here so it was just play what I want and quit when I want. I shouldn't have played at all. Everything I touched was crap. Quick Quads was a bust with only 4 quads in total. Super Times Pay was even worse dropping 2 bills without even seeing a multiplier. Between all of the plays I did I was down over 6 bills on 4k in action. Not what I like to do at a secondary property.

I did have $19 worth of points that I cashed in for free play that I turned into $14 cash.

I left South Point because I had plans tonight to meet up with Anne, Steve and Evelyn out at Green Valley Ranch for dinner and some gaming action. Steve didn't come but Jason did.

Before they arrived I hit the craps table. Bad idea. Couldn't hit much of anything. Dropped a pile of money here.

For dinner we went to Pizza Rock. We got an assortment of foods from Pizza, pasta and salad.

Anne and Evelyn played some video poker and I watched while we all hung out. They left and I tried craps again. Lost again.

I left GVR and came back to the Orleans. I came back to the Orleans. Didn't play any video poker. I played some penny slot instead. No wins or losses and got out basically even.

When I was done playing I came up to the room to start packing up for tomorrow's move.
