Day 9

I got ready for the day, packed up and ready to head out of Rampart. We all got together for brunch at the Earl Grey Cafe. I got grilled cheese again but chicken noodle soup instead of tomato this time.

After we ate I headed out. Jimbo had a car rental reserved at the airport so I was going to take him down there to pick it up. Steve came along for the ride. On the way I stopped at the Palms to see if the gas cards had come in yet. They had and I collected the $50 card from Sunday.

From there it was off to the rental car center where I dropped Jimbo & Steve off.

Next up I made the long drive to Laughlin with a quick stop at 99˘ Only for some stuff. I pulled into the Aquarius around 3:23pm where I'd be spending the next 5 nights.

I booked this through my host. I also have a mailer for $480 in free play. On top of that they are running a promo for multiple point days where at my card level I can choose any 6 days this month and get 8x points on slots and 4x points on video poker.

I checked in at VIP and my room was ready.

I got my “regular” room 18071. Standard issue room here at the Aquarius with a king bed, night stands, chair and ottoman, desk, dresser, fridge and flat screen TV. The bathroom is tiny with a basic vanity, tub and toilet. It has a view of the river and the pool.

I stopped by a kiosk and activated my multiplier for today and printed my vouchers for food items and drinks. This is a perk of having their Legit level card.

I took a walk down the river walk and crossed over to Tropicana. I had $25 free play and a daily food comp for $20 for being Diamond Elite. I played some penny games and had a few smaller hits.

I also played some video poker. Started out well but then went right to shit. I dropped almost 4 bills on what I estimated at 5k in action (because their card readers don't keep track and neither do their kiosks).

For dinner I went to Brew Brothers and got burnt ends and fries. Not bad tasting but not really burnt ends.

I walked back over to Edgewater and then Aquarius. I was kind of video poker-ed out (after doing over 40k yesterday) so decided to just play some slots tonight. Had some good bonus rounds and made a few bucks.

I had my play in for the day so ran my $480 free play through single line dollars. Shitty and and even though I hit a quad I turned the $480 into $500 cash.

I came up to the room and wrapped up a long day.
