Day 13

Day 13 Monday June 27, 2022 Today is the final day in Laughlin. Like all of the other days I started off activating my multiplier for the day. I also printed out another set of food and drink vouchers now that it's a new week here.

I hit the 10 plays and was getting beat on. Very much like the last few days. I switched machines and things have finally smoothed out. Was plugging along hovering around even when I got surprised by a royal flush holding two cards. This was a much needed turn of events. Hit a few quads as well including aces and a few bonus quads. Cashed out with a $600 win for a change.

I took a walk down the river walk to the Edgewater. I had a $5 food coupon from my mailer. For lunch I went to PT Express and got a bacon blue cheese burger. Really good and they're doubles with French fries. I used points to cover the difference on the bill.

Next up I went over to Tropicana. They are running 5x reward credits for diamonds today so figured I'd give them a little bit of play. I started off with 10 play deuces. Was doing well staying close to even but then it turned and it turned fast. I thought I had a shot when it dealt me trip deuces but I couldn't pull the 4th one. A few hands later I got them dealt again. Missed again too. Dropped 5 bills here and most of the royal money is gone.

Switched it up to $1 single line. Much smoother ride and I actually hit 5 or 6 quads. Sixes were the theme of the day hitting them 3 times. Got out of the dollar action with $100 win.

For dinner Lolly & friend came over to the Tropicana for dinner at Brew Brothers. Unfortunately the place is closed Monday – Wednesday. Instead we went to Carnegie Cafe. I got the Southern fried chicken breasts with country gravy. It's one of my go to items here and is always good.

After dinner I came back to the Aquarius. On the walk over I realized I had a ticket in my pocket. It was for $10 from the Trop. Ugh. As I put it back into my pocket I realized there was another ticket in there. This one was $400 from the video poker play. This idiot forgot to cash them in. I'll have to stop by there tomorrow before I head back to Las Vegas.

I came back to the Aquarius and hit the machines again. Took another shot at 10 play. Good run of quads and “stuff” as Dee used to call it. The highlight of the session was aces and holding SF4 and filing in 3 of them. I had the meter up by $350 and it started to turn and turn fast again. I cashed out with a $100 win.

I switched it up to some single line for dollars. Things weren't going well until I hit aces on a 2 card hold. Things didn't get better so I cashed out and took a $200 win.

With all of the play in for the day it was time to wrap things up here in Laughlin. Having gotten 8x/4x points all week long and with what was left in my account from a previous multiplier on my December trip (they multiply overnight, not as you play) I had enough points for $1000 in free play.

I ran $500 in free play through $1 single line video poker and turned it into $350 cash. Not a single hand better than 2 pair showed up.

The next $500 I ran through 5 play for halves for a change of pace. Things were a little better but no quads came and the $500 became $420.

I took a walk through the casino and played some slots and thanks to a few good hits totaled up a $100 win.

This pretty much did it for the day and Laughlin.

I came up to the room and packed up my things for the move back to Vegas tomorrow and watched some TV before bed.
