Day 14
Tuesday June 28, 2022
I got up got ready, packed up the rest of my things and headed out of Laughlin. My trips down here always seem to go so fast. Before I left I used up the rest of my Cove/Duet vouchers for some food and drinks to go at Duet.

The first stop along the way was over to the Tropicana to cash in the tickets from yesterday and collect my $410.

Next was over to Bullhead City for gas. Gas is “only” in the $4.50/gallon range over there. $1.40 less than it is in Laughlin. I'm not sure how the stations on this side of the river actually survive. I got gas at Sam's Club and it was $4.40.

The ride back to Las Vegas wasn't bad and I pulled into Green Valley Ranch a little after 2 where I'd be staying for the next 3 nights. I booked this with a mail offer of 3 nights and $25 free play. I don't play a lot here at GVR so this is a pretty nice offer.

I was on my way to room 4050 in the West tower. This is a king room. There are nightstands on each side of the bed, a work desk, dresser, make up table and TV. The bathroom has a tub, shower stall and vanity. The toilet is in it's own room. There is a fantastic view of construction.

I got my things up to the room and met up with Jimbo and Katy who were already here as they checked in yesterday and hit the machines. Five play was the game of choice. Wasn't doing too bad and hit aces and some other quads including a double quad on a two card hold. Not much else was happening and lost 3 bills.

Dinner tonight was at Lucky Penny. I got the turkey dinner. That's my go to meal here most of the time and it's very good. Jimbo signed the meal to his room to be comped off later. Thanks for dinner Jimbo.

After dinner we played more video poker. Similar session to earlier with few quads but not much else. I lost around 2 bills here.

I had $25 in free play that I ran through triple play quarters and turned it into $30 cash. I played a bit more and hitting just “stuff” ran the meter up to $100. Started dropping and hit quad kings to cash out at $100.

I wrapped up the night here in the room getting caught up on e-mails and watching TV before going to bed.

Total Win/Loss For The Day = - $373
Total Comps For The Day = $243
