Here are the three saltwater shrimp farm vats. Each one a swimming pool in of it's self. They USDA and are fit for human consumption. They are even better for your pets.
The Purina Mills nutritiional scientists came to visit my Lab & Shrimp Farm this year. They were unable to believe that I could house 300,000 specimens in such a small area without the intoxication of ammonia and nitrates. According to them, this is almost impossible. No one has this many waste producing shrimp in such a small area and can get away with no nitrates or especially no ammonia. They were shocked you should have seen their faces the entire visit. It was like they were in Disneyland!
You will never find excriment or sluge in my shrimp tanks. This is because my circulation is out of this world at 10K gallons per hour. The filters pick up waste on demand.
Furthermore, the feed ratio is reversed in my operation. Unlike the other aquafarms that mass feed artificially and chemically processed with who knows what, we use mostly spirulina 20 and dried plankton as the basic food source. This has encouraged the shrimp to find other food sources within their environment. my studies have found that our shrimp have developed a taste for amphiopods and the live algae mat that grows on the bottom and on the sides of the vats. What I havent told those fancy gentileman is that my shrimp system is a reef.
