The wedding took place in Austin,Texas.
Carolyn did all the planning herself.
It was in the upstairs party room above the "Old Pecan Street Cafe" on 6th Street in downtown Austin!
Carolyn was a beautiful bride, and Paul was a handsome bridegroom.
They were married by the ordained minister who was also the owner of the restaurant ... a beautiful ceremony!
They are now Mr. and Mrs. Paul A. Ford.
I must say I have never had such good food at a wedding!
We had our choice of 5 entrees: prime rib, trout, Chicken Parmesan, and some type of fancy pork dish.
I had trout, which i never had before, and it was delicious.
The cake she chose was delicious and gorgeous, with Rose petals all around it
Song I chose to dedicate to Paul and Carolyn
Some Enchanted Evening
(Words and Music by Oscar Hammerstein II and Richard Rodgers From the musical production "South Pacific")
Some enchanted evening you may see a stranger
You may see a stranger across a crowded room
And somehow you know, you know even then
That somewhere you'll see her again and again
Some enchanted evening, someone may be laughing
You may hear her laughing across a crowded room
And night after night, as strange as it seems
The sound of her laughter will sing in your dreams
Who can explain it, who can tell you why
Fools give you reasons, wise men never try
Some enchanted evening, when you find your true love
When you feel her call you across a crowded room
Then fly to her side and make her your own
Or all through your life you may dream all alone
Once you have found her, never let her go
Once you have found her, never let her go
God brought them together
