Monolithic columns rise
out of dense foliage
outwardly proclaiming
neolithic guide posts that
lend celestial ambiance
in contrast to rituals dance of
ghosts long dormant from
habitat given back
to rain forests
shimmered in moonlight while
sepia colored agate eyes in
terracotta statues
overgrown with vines
now view remnants from
enigmatic dwellers who once
sojourned to this place and beyond
